The first U.S. solar energy company in China to build largest solar energy station

September 9, the first U.S. solar energy company announced that it has, laptop battery and Chinese authorities signed a major deal in the next 10 years to build a Ordos in Inner Mongolia, the world’s largest solar power station, the project investment of up to 5 billion to 6 billion US – yuan.

This means that the world’s second largest solar cell manufacturer officially enter the Chinese market, but also the first big U.S. companies to enter the field of PV.

It is understood that this will be the first U.S. solar companies in the Ordos City Hangjinqi energy and chemical base in the construction of a capacity of up to 2,000 megawatts of solar power plant, the project hp F4809A battery covers an area of 65 square kilometers. At the same time, the company also plans to invest and supporting the local factories, power plants needed to produce solar modules and panels.

Construction of the project is divided into four phases: the first period on June 1, 2010 started after the completion of generating 30 MW; Phase II and Phase III respectively 100 MW and 870 MW power generation is expected before the end of 2014 completed; fourth the size of as much as 1,000 megawatts, hp battery  will be completed before the end of 2019.
