German solar cell R & D to improve the efficiency of the new law
University of Bonn, Germany, has released a statement that the school physicists through the application of laser cooling technology to achieve high-density concentration of photons. This technology is expected to improve the efficiency of solar cells, it can work efficiently on cloudy days.
The statement said that the school physicists use the super-arched mirror to collect sunlight reflected, so that laser beams can be clustered into between the cycles in the mirror, mirror room is rubidium
Gas. Rubidium atom laser in the bombardment process will consume more energy than its own, VGP-BPS13B/B , VGP-BPS8 resulting in Rb air temperature dropped drastically.
Thus, also will weaken the movement of light and more closely together to form known as the Bose – Einstein condensate of photons group. High density of light can enhance the efficiency of solar cells. Because of its unique arched mirror design, even on cloudy days can effectively collect light.
The results published in the latest issue of “Nature Physics” journal.
